In 2015, the Victorian Government launched its independent energy price comparison website, Victorian Energy Compare, to help Victorians save money on their energy bills.
To drive awareness of the program, the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning is hosting public forums across Victoria in collaboration with local communities. The sessions provide practical advice on how consumers can access savings by using the comparison website, and addresses the structure of energy bills, different pricing options and concessions.
The Department is currently seeking expressions of interest from organisations that would be interested in hosting Victorian Energy Compare information sessions for their stakeholders in late 2017 or 2018.
Should you be interested in accessing this service, or would like more information about the program please contact Sandra Qian, Senior Policy Officer, Victorian Energy Compare at
